Support for SNAP recipients, ongoing.

The federal shutdown has threatened funds for the SNAP program, putting thousands of low-income Coloradans at risk. Many statewide and local groups have stepped up to support local food banks to fill the gap in SNAP benefits. Colorado Public Radio has compiled a list of organizations working to keep people fed.

In Clear Creek County, Loaves and Fishes is the local food pantry. They can always use your support, whether through donations of funds, canned goods, or your time.

We are comprised of people from across the nation, with many residing in Colorado. We are focused on action rather than just airing political grievances, so please come prepared to talk about what you want to DO to protect vulnerable communities and resist the new administration.
