Seventeen people marched from the Old Carlson Elementary School to Idaho Springs City Hall in silent remembrance of Lorenzo Salgado Araujo and Johan Sebastian Guerrero, two innocent men killed by ICE in July. On July 7, Lorenzo Salgado Araujo was killed in Houston on his way to work. On July 11, ICE agents killed a 26-year-old Johan Sebastian Guerrero who was authorized to work in the United States. The Clear Creek Democrats parched in the Georgetown July 4th parade. The morning featured the parade through Downtown Georgetown, and the afternoon was spent manning a table in Strousse Park. The entire day was a fitting way to celebrate the United States' 250th Birthday.
