Thirty-five members and friends of the Clear Creek County Democratic Party marched in Georgetown's July 4th parade. The theme of the Democrats' march, "Raising our Voices, 1776-2025," commemorated our nation's history of peaceful protest and positive change. Events like the Boston Tea Party, the Seneca Falls Convention, the Montgomery Bus Boycott, the protests against the Vietnam and Iraq wars, and the Black Lives Matter movement have moved our nation closer to the ideals of freedom and equality.

Many elected officials marched with the Democrats to affirm our common goals at a time when the basic functions and responsibilities of our government are at stake.
The Clear Creek Democrats marched with
State Senator Dylan Roberts,
Clear Creek County Commissioners Jodie Hartman-Ball, Rebecca Lloyd, and George Marlin,
State Representative Junie Joseph, District 10, Boulder,
Democratic National Committee representative Stephanie Beale,
Scott Mangino, Second Vice Chair, Colorado Democratic Party, and
Denver Democrats Chair James Reyes.

We, as a County, a State, and a Nation, have faced periods where our democratic values have been undermined in favor of greed and personal enrichment. We have met innumerable challenges and risen together to create a country we can be proud of.

While it may seem that the foundations of our country are being attacked from all directions, our history tells us that in these moments, Men and Women of good character can stand together and move forward.
The Clear Creek Democratic Party is dedicated to moving forward. Join us.
