No ICE Protest, January 2026

Nearly 200 people came together at Citizens Park in Idaho Springs, carrying signs to register their sadness for those killed by ICE agents and to yell their outrage. 

Froggie Chanter, Carolyn Hohne, led the loud opposition to the masked, armed, poorly trained Border Control Agents. 

“ICE out NOW” was the theme of the day.  Daniel Ray Scott dedicated a new song to Renee Good.  Jimy Murphy did an adapted version of “Ohio” which inspired the crowd to sing this ballad from the 70’s dedicated to the killings of student protesters at Kent State.

The Clear Creek Democrats will hold a rally on the last Saturday of each month until they are no longer needed. See our Events page for all of the dates.
